Medicine Singing Bowl, the veneration of Medicine Buddha, the Supreme- Healer (Sangye Menla in Tibetan) Is considered a powerful method not only for healing and increasing healing powers both for oneself and others, but also for overcoming the inner sickness of attachment, hatred and ignorance.
It is believed that meditating on the Medicine Buddha can help decrease physical and mental illness and suffering.
According to the Tibetan tradition, the existence of Singing bowls dates back to the time of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni (560-480 B.C) The tradition was brought from India to Tibet in the 8th century A.D.
Singing Bowls produce sounds which invoke a state of relaxation which naturally assists one in entering into meditation.
They are a quintessential aid to Meditation and can be found on Buddhist avatars, in temples monasteries and Yoga halls through the word.
This Singing Bowl has been Handmade in Nepal by traditional Artisan craft people.
